I met LC 3 when he was just 13. He was a young soldier warrior and I give thanks that he was in my life. Al though the time was brief he showed me kindness and consideration. I have good memories especially his creativity. The necklace he gave me I have cherished to this day. He faced demons of this world, and walked with pride, with a strong in body and creative style. I knew Little C at the time when he was moving into manhood. His age group created their own initiation to manage life and help each other through the trials they faced. A simple necklace made of wooden beads, showed a caring bond between us. I have cherished the necklace that is a symbol of his glorious power to demonstrate kindness. Know that you were loved and respected. Rashika

I was so saddened to hear this shocking news! To Little LC's children: your father was loved and respected by his entire mother's family. We are all spread out over the United States which has made it difficult to regularly keep in touch, but do know that your dad was mentioned positively in many conversations. The last time I saw him is when he helped with his grandfather's (my dad's) memorial service. To Big LC, there are no words for such an unimaginable loss. You sacrificed and raised him from a baby when my sister couldn't. I know the pain of losing a child and my assurance to you, is that God can fix a broken heart and He will provide comfort. What he did for me, he can do for you. Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of a son, a father, a brother, a nephew, and a friend who had so much potential......Aunt Phylis
