

Obituary of Tracie Anne Putnam
Tracie Anne Putnam passed away on June 2, 2025. Tracie is survived by her longtime partner, Jody Mayer, her brother, Scott Putnam, and several other family members located in Seattle, WA and throughout the country.
Tracie was born in Flint, Michigan on July 15, 1959. She spent most of her young adult/adult years in Seattle, surrounded by a large and loving family, including her mother, Pat, deceased in 2014 and her sister, Shelly, deceased in 2022. Tracie and Jody met in Seattle in 2011 and stayed together for the remainder of Tracie’s life.
Tracie moved to Denver in 2017 where she and Jody enjoyed many activities together, including time with friends, concerts, and travel in their motor home to various state parks in Colorado and Wyoming.
Tracie spent many years working for Whole Foods Market, where she was a dedicated employee providing exceptional customer service in various departments such as Specialty, Prepared Foods, Produce, and Floral. Tracie was a committed chef, connoisseur of fine foods and had a special passion for good music, public radio, including her beloved KEXP of Seattle.
Tracie passed away after a brief and unexpected illness. She will be missed by many.
