
Obituary of Victor S Chayet
Victor Scott Chayet, Hebrew name Velvel ben Yitzchak, son of Zack Chayet and Judi Wolf, step-son of Eva Chayet and Marvin Wolf, passed away peacefully on December 12th, 2025 in his hometown of Denver, Colorado at the age of 59.
Victor was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend. He was known for his intellect, kindness, humor and love. His life was a true blessing to all who knew him.
Throughout his life, Victor found joy in music, the arts, literature and supporting his beloved Denver sports teams, especially the Broncos. Professionally, Victor’s work revolved around understanding how marketing communications strategies can create desired behavior in targeted audiences. He was fortunate to have a career with some of the smartest people in the field, both as colleagues and in partnership with the world's best communications agencies. He led teams around the world and conducted business on six of seven continents.
Victor is survived by his wife Susan of 29 years and his son Devon; his brother Lance, his sons Grant and Logan and their mother Barbara; his brother Marco, his wife Paige and their son Caleb; and his sister Nicole, her husband Evan and their children Sloane, Brooks and Ellis.
Funeral and Shiva Information
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 16th, at 12:00 noon MST at Temple Emanuel, 51 Grape St, Denver, CO 80220. A livestream will be available on Feldman Mortuary's YouTube channel. Interment to follow at Emanuel Cemetery 430 South Quebec Street Denver, CO 80247.
The family will observe Shiva on Tuesday December 16th following interment, continuing on Wednesday December 17th, from 11:00am to 2:00pm and 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the home of his brother Lance Chayet, 3618 East Euclid Ave, Centennial, CO 80121
Memorial Contribution Information
In accordance with Jewish tradition, the family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made in Victor’s name to either the Stuart Collection at the University of California San Diego (via giveto.ucsd.edu), or to Von’s Vision Foundation (via www.vonmiller.org).
