Obituary of Lawrence Roe Brinton

With a heavy heart, I want to share that our father, Lawrence Brinton, unexpectedly passed away Sunday morning, January 25th, 2026, at his senior living center in Denver.

Our dad was born in Delta, Colorado, and spent his life in the state he loved. He was a proud father to C.R. and Loren Brinton, a loving grandpa to Bella, a caring brother to Lynette, and a loyal friend to so many. He truly cared about the people in his life and had a way of making everyone feel heard and valued.

Lawrence was known for his quick wit, great sense of humor, and genuine, good-hearted nature. He loved traveling, scuba diving, trivia with friends, and cheering on the Broncos, especially when it gave him the chance to give his friends grief about their less superior teams like the Raiders and Dolphins. He rarely had a bad mood and brought great energy wherever he went.

Above all, he taught us how to be good people. We are incredibly grateful to have had a father who was not only caring and loving but truly my best friend. He will be missed more than words can express.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. It means more than you know.
