When I started working for ACSCAN in 2012, RJ was one of the first people to welcome me aboard. He was a great colleague and became my good friend. He lived with a sense of kindness and decency that set him apart, and he had a way of looking out for the little guy that reminded all of us in the advocacy space why we do the work we do. It hurts to think we won't see RJ again, but I'm thankful he touched my life. Rest well, friend.
