About Dr. Bill Webster
Dr. Bill is the founder and Executive Director of the Centre for the Grief Journey. He earned his doctorate at the University of Toronto in 1990 and has been awarded the prestigious Fellow in Thanatology by the Association of Death Education and Counseling (ADEC).
However, his intimate knowledge of grief comes through difficult personal experience. In 1983, Bill's young wife died of a heart attack, leaving Bill to navigate the shock and loss, but also with the job of raising their two young sons, then only 9 and 7.
Today, Dr. Bill has over 30 years of experience in grief support and counseling, and is a recognized author, international speaker and seminar leader.
"Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your kindness and consideration during a time that can only be described as a blur. Your patience & professionalism were so very appreciated." - M.H.
