Planning a funeral reception is a little bit difficult because it is mainly done to focus on honoring and remembering the deceased. It does not require extravagant menus or any entertainment. ● RSVP. 

 

4. Provide Refreshments 

Creating a memorable reception involves the provision of different kinds of refreshments. Refreshments vary from different desserts, course meals, and appetizers. You can decide to have a catering service cater for the reception, or you can make the arrangements for the refreshments with friends and family. 

 

5. Create a Welcoming Environment 

The fact that it's a funeral service should not make the environment unwelcoming to guests. The funeral venue should be welcoming, with enough seats to contain guests. You can also play fantastic music to keep the atmosphere warm and neutral. 

 

6. Show Respect To the Deceased 

You can also respect the deceased by decorating the venue with pictures of the deceased. You can also put up items of great importance to the deceased in the venue. You can also display gifts and flowers that you got from the guest. All this is done to make the whole day speak of the deceased.
