Obituary of Irwin Sandler
Irwin Sanlder passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Feb. 27 after a valiant battle with MDS. Irwin was born in Buffalo NY on Oct. 7 1945. He was the beloved husband of Anne and devoted father of Rae Lori. He is survived by his sister Sandra (Alan) Banks his nieces Jill (Kelly) Silverstein Nadine (Robert) Charendoff and Lisa Banks. He was a proud great uncle to Jacob Jessica Jonah and Oliver all of Toronto Canada. For the past 34 years Irwin and his family and cherished dogs created a full and rich life in Denver. He is well loved and respected by an extraordinary network of lifelong friends associates and peers. To know him was truly to love him. He graduated JD from the University of Buffalo Law School. In addition to being a lawyer he was a skilled businessman with GS Partners for many years as well as a successful realtor with Prestige Realty Group. He was a member of the Colorado Bar Assn. the Colorado Board of Realtors member of the AIPAC Colorado Council and past board member of Congregation Emanuel. He was extremely active in our community generously lending his expertise energy and support to numerous local charities. He was an avid golfer for many years cyclist runner Bronco fan and all around athlete. A true renaissance man he was also a great dancer and poet. He simply excelled in every pursuit. A handsome loving caring loyal and devoted friend to all he will be remembered for his grit his intelligence his passion his smile his humor his public speaking and his pure love of life itself. He shall be deeply missed. His life was a blessing to us all. Service Wednesday 200pm Congregation Emanuel 51 Grape Street.
