Obituary of Fred Marcus

Fred Marcus died in Germany on June 25 2002. Born in Berlin in 1924 he left Nazi Germany as a refugee to Shanghai China in 1939. In 1949 he emigrated to the U.S. Following a career in the hotel industry he became a prominent Jewish educator. Travel was his passion. In his retirement he served as a travel consultant and visited over 100 countries.
