Dear Marion, I am sad to learn the death of your mother, Ilse. I stayed a few days with her in 1980, and a short time with you too, I recall. We played tennis together. My father Fritz died in January 1985, and my fascinating as well as sometimes exasperating, though always interesting, mother Pauline, died just as my sister Isolde and I had just entered St. Peter's, Liverpool Grove, Walworth, a Sir John Soane designed church on father's day, 17th June 2012, a beautiful sunny day amid a rainy summer!
