I knew Larry for many years. Was even a roommate for 3 years in Denver. It really saddened me to hear he was gone. He was my best friend and confident. He was quite a character at times also. Always trying to be funny. Everyone was his friend. He'd do anything to help you. I even call his cell phone last Saturday to hear his voice one last time. "Hey this is Larry, sorry I missed you, leave a message and I'll get back to you, have a great day". I will miss you always Larry.

Larry was my brother, really. We were 16 months apart in age, and grew up like twins. He was my "pseudo twin." We were so close, went through a lot of stuff together. We may not have seen each other as often as we should have, but we always knew the other one was there. I always knew I could count on him, as he could on me. My biggest regret is he didn't tell me how sick he was, even the last time I saw him 2 weeks ago. My family is beyond sad, and will miss him deeply. I was so happy to see so many people at his service, so glad to know he touched so many lives. It did my heart good to hear the laughter and applause when we played "Soul Man", he would have loved it! Thank you all for showing how much my brother was loved.

Larry was one of the dearest, most gregarious and outgoing men I've ever met. I met him as a member of Debbie Lease's company Talent West. I saw many, many Blues Brothers shows over the years we worked together, and I was always struck by how he immersed himself in his character, and always made me forget I really WASN'T watching John Belushi!! The professionalism, love, and generosity he showed me, as a young entertainer was always a milemarker for how I wanted to present myself, and I kept that in the forefront of my performances always, and to this day. I loved Larry dearly and am crushed at this loss. I send my love and condolences to his family, and am lifting you up in prayer as you move through this incredibly difficult time. I'll see you on the other side, my brother. Rest sweetly in the arms of our Lord.
Sincerely,
Erica Brown

I've known Larry for 8 years. We were members of the Bariactric Support Group. He was always a kind and sharing man. I always looked forward to seeing him in out Monday meetings. I regret that I didn't see him perform his blues brother act. I will always have my memories to remind me of him for the rest of my life.

It's been just a week since I last saw Larry. He came to my karaoke show and sang a couple of songs. I shook his hand a little more than once before he and Joe Garcia left that night. I could not have imagined it would be the last time I would see him. Larry, enjoy the rest of eternity and maybe will will shake hands again.
