My life was enriched by attending Sam's funeral. I did not know him in his life time but I feel I know him now. What a remarkable man! The one attribute I did not hear emphasized was humility. I cannot speak to Sam's humility, but knowing Al as I do, he was very private about his father's stature and I assume that comes from a deep seeded modesty that went to the core of a man without pretense but driven by solid values and humanity. May Sam's memory be blessed by your carrying on in his ways. Aver
