Good old Bobby Sanders, I will always remember his stories of catching carp in Sloans Lake then riding his bicycle through West Denver selling the fish for Gefilte fish before the Sabbath. Rest in Peace buddy..... "gone fishing"

I dated Bob during the late 80s and early 90s. He was a wonderful man. I actually called him a couple of years ago and we went to lunch. He will always be special to me. I'm sorry for your loss.

To all of Bob's family, I wish to express my condolences over his passing. Having worked side by side with Bob for several years I became acquainted with most of his facets. Of all things, Bob cared about his kids and tried the best he knew how to take care of their varied needs. Granted, this often occurred between issues with Saddleback or his other interests, but none the less, I never heard him say "no" when any of his children asked for help. There are not too many fathers that can be remembered in that way.
I am out of town, but should I have been able to join you, I would have only shared the fun stories that I know, others will surely be able to look back further than I, so you will hear their versions of various tales. All the best to you.
