Judith, Stacey and James: I am so sorry to hear of Allan's passing. I always think of him with fondness. I learned so many things when I worked for him, and enjoyed his sense of humor and his skills.
We are living in Wyoming and heard about Allan from another Campbell and Rosenbaum person, Tom Hirn.
Thinking of you at this difficult time.

It's hard to accept the loss of Allan. He was my colleague and business partner for many years at Noven & Rosenbaum. We were so proud of that firm and how well we worked together. It was the most fun I've had practicing as a CPA. I hope I gave him the same joy and pride practicing with me as he did for me practicing with him. He was my big brother, he taught me so much about life, about grace, and about just being a Mench. I loved our time together, our lunches, (his love for M&Ds barbecue), just goofing around together, laughing, brain storming ideas, spouting tax code sections, discussing tax strategies, our rides through the old Jewish west side listening to Allan's stories. Oh how he loved to tell stories. Being proud of being graduates of the University of Illinois. He was truly a good man and I love him and I will miss him. To his family I hope and pray that the happy memories will help ease the pain of loss during these times. Shalom Chaver!

Although I only knew him for a short time, Professor Rosenbaum was a truly remarkable person. I was always awed by the students who would comment on how much they loved his courses and how they were inspired by him. I'll always remember his quick wit and his tax jokes, which were hilarious and which so few people truly understood. I wish that I had much more time to know him as a colleague and a friend. I am truly saddened by his passing, and send my deepest condolences to Allan's friends and family.

Dear Dr. Rosenbaum's family,
No words can express how deeply sorry we are for your loss. Allan was a dear friend, mentor and colleague. His wisdom and kindness during my first years at MSU will never be forgotten. When I was ill, he filled in for me. When I needed advice, he provided thoughtful conversation. He loved working with the students and they loved him.
Our recent trip to Seattle to present our research was an invaluable experience for the students. His work on the VITA program will impact our classes at MSU Denver for many years to come.
Your husband, father and grandfather was valued and appreciated by all of us at MSU Denver. We are so blessed and grateful we were his friend.
