I want to express my sadness upon reading about Shelly Silverman's passing. I've known Shelly almost a lifetime, from about 11 years old, when he coached our West Side Hawks baseball team in the old Denver Young American League. We even played fast pitch softball against each other in the JCC softball league. He was an excellent attorney and a very special person. It was a personal pleasure to be among his many former players and friends about 2-3 years ago, at a get together for Shelly, arranged by Craig and Shelly's whole family.
