Obituary of Gerald Burton Merenstein

Jerry Merenstein died peacefully at home on December 14 2007. He was born February 14 1941 in Pittsburgh PA. He trained at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and moved to Denver in 1966 beginning his career in medicine at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1986 as a Colonel. Following his retirement he joined the faculty of The University of Colorado as a neonatologist. He later served as Acting Chair of The Department of Pediatrics at The Children
